Job Description:

Objective of the Position:

  • Production Manager is responsible for directing and controlling the production department's activities to achieve targets for quantity, quality, productivity and on time delivery with minimum production costs, in order to satisfy customer requirements
  • Management of the production departments inclusive production planning, labor, and production lines, equipment at production department
  • Securing and continuously improvement of productivity and the product quality.
  • Responsible for scheduling of the production inclusive the trial and semi-finished products after the trial.
  • Responsible for training, coaching and supporting production team in terms of work Procedure, Work Instruction, work list, hygiene of factory
  • Implement the compliance of ISO 9001, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000 at production department
  • Responsible for reviewing performance assessment of production team.
  • Cooperate with other departments to achieve the Objects of company
  • Focusing on Sustainability Improvement in Production

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Overall responsible of production department and equipment
  • Manage, organize, motivate and train production staffs.
  • Responsibility for the performance of the production department.
  • Ensuring production area is clean and tidy and up to standard of ISO 9001, ISO 14000, ISO 22000/ FSSC
  • Responsibility for a structured and on time production planning and production.
  • Responsible that correct the correct products and volumes are being produced.
  • Responsible for the labels for the products has the correct information (item number, item name, batch number, production date and expiry date)
  • Ensuring cleaning and maintenance of equipment
  • Continuously work on the 5S- continuous improvement and efficiency of the production
  • Preparing budgets and forecasts and responsible for the control of costs and budget in the department.
  • Responsible for the policies/training for production staffs ensuring procedures and instruction is followed.
  • Closely coordinate with related departments as Maintenance, Warehouse, QC, QA, PC, PM.
  • Communication with other production managers.
  • Report to the Factory Manager and provide necessary information from department on a regular basis.
  • Preparing material for Members Council meetings.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor of Business Management or Food Technology is preferred
  • Excellent in English.
  • Good in computer skills
  • Excellent organizational & management skills, excellent decision-making and follow-through skills.
  • Ability to communicate with all organizational levels.
  •  Skill on conflict management and resolution.
  • Skill on prioritizing multiple tasks within changing work demands.
  • Skill on problem solving and making production planning.
  • Have knowledge and experience in Quality Management System (ISO 9001, ISO 14000 and ISO 22000/ FSSC).
