Role: Responsibility to work closely with Procurement Managers
responsible for other categories, but the main focus will be on Marketing &
Communications spend categories. (Media Spend, Agency Contracts, Production
Houses). Marketing Procurement will develop a strong business /working
relationship with Marketing Director/Teams. The role covers all areas of
Marketing activity making a real and tangible difference to the success of the
business.
Responsibilities:
- This role delivers value
to the business by taking ownership for specific Marketing spend categories or
Marketing sourcing projects and bringing expert knowledge and market insight to
create a competitive advantage.
- Contract and supplier remuneration negotiations
- Delivery of comprehensive marketing procurement strategies that are fully aligned
with business strategy Delivery of tangible and validated financial benefits to the business by taking
the lead on complex negotiations that ensure our major supplier contracts
deliver maximum commercial benefit
- Developing effective relationships with key stakeholders
ensuring the positive contribution Procurement delivers is fully understood and
recognized
- Managing all sourcing governance activities to ensure full compliance to relevant
agreed MPO processes.
- Making a significant contribution to the future development and success of the
Procurement function and MPO Organization.
KPI’s: Developed in collaboration with the Category CMO’s.

Requirements:
- To be
considered for this role: have experience of working as a Marketing Procurement
specialist.

engagement at all levels
- Must have strong, professional and refined negotiation skills coupled with
sound commercial acumen and understanding of complex business issues
