Job Description:

• To carry out maintenance related activities in the plant and office facilities
• Plan and follow up on maintenance schedule for all machinery and equipment within the facilities in the plant
• To source and negotiate with external vendors and contractors for speedy repair and maintenance of machinery and equipment
• To supervise contractors or vendors when they do maintenance jobs on site
• Manage maintenance expenses within budget
• Involve in improvement projects and continuously improve the work processes and develop Standard Operating Procedure
• Generate and manage monthly reports
• Maintain and ensure Health, Safety & the Environment (HSE) system, practices and procedures are in accordance to legal and corporate requirement.
• Provide support to the implementation of HSE related improvement initiatives / programs as identified
• Ensure all HSE records and data are promptly and accurately updated and reported
• Keep abreast of statutory and ISO updates
• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree (Preferably from Engineering discipline)
• 3-5 years of experience in similar capacity preferably from manufacturing environment
• Good knowledge of statutory rules and regulations including HSE regulations
• ISO 9000 / 14000 / HSE knowledge
• Proficient in MS Office application
• Communicate well in English, both spoken and written
