Job Description:

PURPOSE/GENERAL SUMMARY:
- With expansion of production in Vietnam, we are looking for Logistics Manager, leading logistics team, to manage the rapid growth of ocean & air volume from Vietnam to US
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the ocean & air transportation operation for fulfilling the corporate business needs
- Review the transportation plan & operation process and propose improvement initiative
- Understand business growth and production development from internal functional teams for preparation of logistics capability
- Manage and develop the operation team with competency
- Manage offshore operation upon request
- Review the performance of logistics service providers & vendors and execute improvement plan
- Update the latest news of industry & infrastructure development and prepare operation proposal for encountering the change.
- Support in any ad-hoc project/research/analysis requested from Supervisor
JOB SPECIFICATIONS (e.g. Qualification, Job Experience):
- Degree or above in logistics or supply chain management
- Minimum 5-8 years’ experience in international logistics industry, with 3-4 years’ experience of leading logistics team, preferably in fashion retails industry and transportation to N. America market
- Strong network with local logistics service providers
- Offshore operation management experience is highly preferable
- Solid & Strong experience in managing service providers and vendors
- Independent working attitude with open-mind view on in problem solving
- Good communication, , leadership, analytical and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in written and spoken English
- Knowledge of SAP is preferable
- PC skills in MS office application
- Travelling to other areas of Vietnam is needed
