Job Description:

Main Responsibilities:

• Perform various tasks related to legal matters, acting as a legal common function, backup to other departments within the company.

•Advise, consult, ensure company documentation and operation complying within legal frame and company policies.

• Provide legal consultancy on commercial, corporate, labor and tax law etc…

• Prepare legal letters, contracts, agreements, documentation related to company operations etc…

• Design, formulate and verify legal documents, contracts, memorandums to ensure its compliancy with regulation of laws, company’s policies & interests.

• Update legal changes & implication. Guidance on legal matters, aspects of business registration, investment certificate, incorporation, charter, by-laws, corporate restructuring, extension of new branch/ office/ product/ brand etc…

• Prepare, organize, assist and communicate on meetings and documentation (minutes, resolutions, memos, communication letters…) of shareholders and management of the company.

• Handling lawsuits of the company.

• Support to solve legal issues on:

• Legal dealing with customers, e.g. customer complaints and litigation, product liability, warranty, car replacements etc…

• Legal dealing with suppliers and partners, e.g. contracts with landlords, construction companies, promotion events, with banks, partners…

• Legal dealing with authorities: DPI, Tax, Customs, Authorities…

• Legal dealing with employees: HR issues, e.g. labor dispute…

• Train staff and manage legal department.

• Perform other job related duties as assigned.

Job requirement

• A Bachelor in law degree, however Master is highly preferred.

• Fluent in verbal and written Vietnamese and English (required).

• Strong knowledge of Vietnam law, corporate law.

International law would be a plus.

• Experience interacting with Board of Directors.

• Experienced legal professional with minimum 5-7 years.

• Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, interpersonal and negotiation skills.

• High level of proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office.

• Ability to work under pressure.
