Main Duties:

• Provide technical knowledge in the areas of inks/chemistry, print process, and metal print quality.
• Periodic on-site troubleshooting in the areas of screen-printing and digital printing environments.
• Design or specify test methods and experiments for print pilots and quality validation.
• Communicate and coordinate testing with remote and local teams.
• Generate reports as necessary for quality management system.
• Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions.
• Explains difficult issues and works to build consensus.
• Makes decisions within guidelines and policies.
• Is accountable for small projects or programs with manageable risks and resource requirements.
• Monitors and controls costs of own work and may manage costs for small projects or programs.
• Performs work in support of brand plans; demonstrates link between daily work and company mission; participates in initiatives, programs or products with moderate visibility.
• Ensures actions protect company image and limits risks.
• Decisions and actions impacting company image require management oversight and are constrained by policies.
• Other tasks assigned by CEO.

Requirements:

• Requires a Bachelor’s Degree with Chemistry or related degree.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in managing and troubleshooting printing machine and metal printing ink.
• Working knowledge of materials and chemistry in the print industry is desirable.
• Working knowledge of RIPs, color management, spectrophotometry and industrial inkjet equipment preferred.
• Fair to Good spoken and written English.
