Duties:
- Provides procurement, contractual and legal services within the company business.
- Prepares contract strategy, invitation for Tender/ Tender evaluation
- Conducts formal solicitation, negotiation, and administration of contracts for wide variety of services and vendors.
- Maintains the contract data base.
- Communicate internally and externally (with stakeholders) regarding procurement/contracting work.
- Identifies, analyses, and evaluates contractual compliance issues; resolves or facilitates resolution of compliance-related problems
- Responds, initiates, and evaluates requests multiple services; makes recommendations to Supervisor and Manager for appropriate course of action.
- Assists development, implementation and maintenance of policies, objectives, short-and long-range planning; develops and implements projects and programs to assist in accomplishment of established goals.
- Remains abreast of current and emerging issues related to the national, state, and contracting practices, privacy, compliance and/or government rules and regulations.
- Coordinate and prepare contractual and administrative reports to support day to day operation and regulatory requirement.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements:
- Knowledge and understanding of the contracting and tender process in oil and gas industry.
- Basis understanding of Company/Subcontractor operations.
- Knowledge of Oil Exploration/production/upstream activity.
- Excellent English writing and speaking
- Good computer skill such as Excel, Word, Power Point.
- Deep knowledge in commercial and contractual terms and conditions
- Good interpersonal communication and negotiation skills.
- Good management skills.
- Knowledge of contracting process and associated local, and other regulations.
- Ability to analyse and interpret complex issues and make evaluative judgments.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community including contractors, vendors, service providers.
- Ability to write, review, and revise contracts, to include pricing and cost/benefit analysis.
- Knowledge of local regulations, guidelines, and standards in area of expertise.
