Job Description:

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

  • As one of the key person in the project team leading the E&A team in the design, implementation and start-up phases of project, having close alignment and collaboration with multiple stakeholders through the project life cycle.
  • The role is to support Project Engineering Manager in plan, coordinate, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within the Capex budget for the project. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan.
  • Deliver expertise to projects in the area of E&A/MES ensuring full compliance, health and safety, product safety and environment are never compromised.

MAIN DUTIES

  • E&A System Design:
    • Support the Project Eng Manager in defining the project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in the responsible area.
    • Working with process user/TCU and design consultant to finalize the required system within the deadline.
    • Closely working with draftsman in developing the installation designs (BIM).
    • Ensure system design fulfills process operation and automation requirements per standards & requirements.
  • Project Management:
    • Create detailed project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation plans for E&A related.
    • Identify potential issues and implement corrective actions as necessary.
    • Responsible, for executing E&A installation and commissioning timely by making sure product and testing quality level are appropriate.
    • Manage the day-to-day operations aspects of the project
    • E&A works and support the equipment installation.
  • Lead and manage:
    • Coordinate with the external installation team to ensure a safe and smooth installation execution; resolve any conflict between owner-contractors and among contractors.
    • Being the E&A lead to integrate, feedback, coach, develop, manage and evaluate the subordinates.
    • Mobilize resources (internal & external). Training and coaching for trainees.
    • Keep all the required communication channels open. 
  • Safety and Health:
    • Implement site SHE protocols to ensure installation work is done safely, observing all company/governmental regulations.
    • Conducts safety audits.
    • Promote the development of environmentally friendly and sustainable solutions.
  • Standard and Compliance: Ensure that installation by contractors is according to specifications and comply with relevant regulations and standards.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Min. 8 years experience in an international project for the entire project lifecycle.
  • Min. 4 years in capital Investment projects management & factory operation experience in F&B industry
  • Ability of methods determination to minimize the likelihood of injuries or damages to people and/or equipment
  • Experience in people development and management (including coaching, training, recruitment and development)
  • Good knowledge of industrial SHE requirements and local legislation to ensure safe working conditions.
  • Sound understanding of local contracts, permitting and certification requirements
  • Solid knowledge of Electricity, Control and Automation including MES
  • Good knowledge of food plant principles and hygienic engineering
  • Knowledge coffee products and process technologies
  • Knowledge of Project Engineering: Project planning; Project Design, Construction and investment cycle.
  • Knowledge of operational Maintenance
  • Fluency in English communication
