Develops annual business plan in conjunction with Country Manager, Business Development Director and Marketing & Sales Administration Manager, which details activities to follow during the fiscal year.
Achieve a personal target of minimum 4 major contracts signed per year (or other amount as may be revised yearly by management).
Responsible for sourcing and developing client relationships and referrals.
Complete understanding of pricing and proposal models.
Actively participate in the marketing and sales offer to client and prepare the overall commercial documents for Japanese Clients, i.e. presentations, costing, proposals, contracts, etc. within VHO pre-approved frame;
Creates and conducts effective proposal presentations that identify prospects business problems, the effects of the problems, and Our client solutions to their problems.
Demonstrates the ability to carry on a business conversation with decision makers.
Maximizes all opportunities in the process of closing a sale resulting in the taking of market share from larger competitors.
Sells consultative and makes recommendations to prospect clients of the various solutions the company offers to their business issues.
Plan, coordinate and implement quantitative and qualitative Japanese market research studies per location and relevant segments that support the overall marketing & sales strategy (focus on products, competition and opportunities assessment surveys) and formulate strategies jointly with Business Development Director and Marketing & Sales Admin Manager.
Develops a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, face to face cold calling on business owners, direct mail, email, and networking.
Maintains accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, emails, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities within their assigned territory to maintain accurate records to maximize territory potential.
Assists in the implementation of company marketing plans as needed.
Assist sales & marketing groups to collect and integrate relevant market and customer data from various sources by expanding prospect listing and suggest any possible interesting projects to BD teams.
Follow up calendar of commercial exhibition and events. Propose the companyâ€™s participation.
Join the weekly meeting with the VHO BD team, branch management, and branch operations team to insure the follow-up of Japanese accounts. Ensure follow up of the actions determined in the meeting.
Ensure, coordinate and submit sales working reports to Country Manager, Marketing and Sales Administration Manager, and Business Development Director in due time.
Participate to monthly department heads meeting with Branch Manager (if applicable)
Report to Branch Manager any thing pertinent for the development of the branch.
Actively participate in the choice and the implantation of development axis and commercial tools as defined by the management.
Conduct necessary report to VHO.
Japanese cultural background.
Fluency in Japanese and English.
Over 10 years of experience in sales and/or service industry.
Extensive experience in all aspects of Customer Relationship Management.
Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
Willingness to travel and work in a global team of professionals.
Proven ability to achieve sales quotas
