Major Accountabilities
- Manage all company investment by monitoring funds performance, ensuring sound investment governance and managing relationship with outsourced fund managers.
- Provide strategy advice for investment portfolio mandates and tactical recommendations for enhancing investment performance.
- Work on investment administration including establishing control and performance metrics and monitor performance against them, re-balancing investment portfolios, and revising compliance with mandates.
- Analyze new investment opportunities, and monitor investment programs for different asset classes.
- Administer the legislative compliance management (LCM) program and operationalize the compliance program for the investments code of conduct.
- Review compliance with company policies and operating guidelines, and update local governing documents, including operating procedures, guidelines and policies.
- Monitor performance with internal and external benchmarks.
- Responsible for all investment related reporting and record retention management.
- Maintain relationship with financial institutions.
- Lead the annual investment planning process.
- Participate in different committee as assigned by the Management.
- Participate in ad hoc assignments as assigned by the Management.

- Familiar with Bloomberg / BlackRock Aladdin
- Experience in asset allocation and portfolio optimization, performance measurement, and risk management (VaR and stress testing)
- High proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Knowledge
- Portfolio theory and construction techniques w/ a fixed income investment orientation
- Investment principles, regulations and compliance requirements
- Knowledgeable of indices associated with marketable securities (e.g. equities, public bonds)
- Familiar with non-marketable asset classes such as Commercial Mortgages and Private Fixed Income investing
- Derivative instruments (interest rate, equity, and currency)

Education and Experience
- Undergraduate university degree in Investment Finance/Accounting/ Economics, or Quantitative studies/Actuarial Sciences.
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) is preferred
- At least 6 years’ experience in investments, asset management and ALM. Employment in the insurance/banking industries preferred.
