-Work within the costing section as a support function to manufacturing, to assist manufacturing personnel with their concerns and needs with primary focus on safety, efficiency, productivity and environmental issues.

-Combine technical knowledge with a sense of human capabilities and limitations.

-Undertake, perform independently calculation of product costs and sample costs

-Applying statistical methods and performing mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, staff requirements, and production standards

-Coordinating quality control objectives and activities to resolve production problems, maximising product reliability, and minimising costs

-Developing manufacturing methods, labour utilisation standards, and cost analysis systems to promote efficient staff and facility utilisation

-Conducting time studies for some SKUs or processes and improving the production processes, recommending methods for improving utilization of personnel, material, and utilities.

-Communicate with production managers, supervisors and workers to address their concerns.

-Actively obtain input from all the company plants and divisions to resolve problems and share best practices across all locations.
