-In charge of lean manufacturing methods implementation. Set goals, develop procedures, train, implement, enforce, follow up and improve.
-Lead, review, supervise and coach kaizen projects in production, quality, planning and inventory control, purchasing.
-In charge of 6S training, implementation, enforcement, standardization and follow up. Work with departments daily to raise 6S consciousness, performs 6S audits and maintain a highly organized, clean and efficient work environment.
-Identify and prioritize areas for improvements using lean, kaizen and 6S tools. Develop and prepare transformation plans, liaise with Ashley US companies on continuous improvement initiatives.
-Collect data, analyze problems, make recommendations and deliver desired results. Establish SOPs and flow charts for procedural improvements.Work hands-on to implement suggestions that improve or change processes in support of the company’s objectives.
-Facilitate Operations Manager and HR department to raise the skills sets of employees. Support Production and Industrial Engineering departments to optimize thru-put and sustain improvement activities.
-Develop visual controls, communicate goals and best practice. Maintain lean metrics.
-Complete other assignments and special projects as requested by the operations manager and general manager.
-In charge of lean manufacturing techniques implementation and 6S audits in the facility.
-Education
- Required –Graduate of a good university with lean manufacturing learning. Engineering discipline.
-Experience
-More than 5 years experience at supervisor/manager level in relevant role in large labor intensive manufacturing company (headcount >3,000)
-Expert user of Excel and statistical analysis software
-Kaizen, Cell manufacturing, CQI, 6S, Pull manufacturing, One Piece Flow, Flexible processes, experience in managing multiple kaizen projects
-Knowledge of:
