- Manage the HSE team to provide performance to expectation of the Project Management.
- Responsible to enforce andimplement overall Health, Safety and Environment policy and guidelines at all times.
- Develop and review all HSE procedures, practices, operational steps, which may affect the HSE of the project employees or the local environment.
- Responsible to identify potential hazard within thebuildingand report such hazard potential and corrective action to the Project Management.
- Conduct daily HSE audit and to complete inspection report.
- Educate and promote awareness among the site employees on HSE aspects through discussion, education and enforcement of HSE regulations.
- Conduct Accident/ Incident Investigation and when necessary with aims to develop corrective action and identify causes.
- Responsible to review machinery andequipment used for construction to ensure safety level, safety certification etc.
- Responsible to inspect fire-fighting equipment and ensure proper maintenance and validation of such facilities.
- Ensure consistent updates of HSE notice board and ensure effective use of the notice board
- Recommend and organize awareness and competition programs
Job Requirement:
- Training background: University graduate in any discipline; Degree or Diploma in HSE Engineering is a plus
- Experience: At least 5 years in a relevant position in a Japanese or international company
- Over 40 years old
- Good understanding of environmental and health & safety laws and legal processes
- Good office software applications skill
- Good coaching/training skills
