The Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage finance & accounting function of the local business
• Review, communicate and ensure effective implementation of process, system control, policies and procedures
• Prepare timely financial and management reporting, and conduct variance analysis
• Prepare annual budget and perform constant review of the budget utilization to drive operational efficiency
• Responsible for all legal and tax-related matters and provide related updated information to Management and Head office in HK
• Maintain all relevant statutory reporting requirements
• Cash flow management and cash flow forecasts
• Provide financial and business advices to Management
• Maintain full-set of accounting records
• Responsible for all operating and office payments
• Liaise with and maintain key working relationships with external parties including but not limit to bankers, external auditors, lawyer, tax authority and relevant government authorities
• Provide all HR and general administration support to the local business, including recruitment, payroll & benefits management, training, insurance arrangement, travel booking, equipment/stationery/pantry supplies
• Assist with regional country managers regarding various operational issues
• Assist top management in analyzing issues and implementing changes
• Perform ad hoc duties as and when required

 

The Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Finance & Accounting or other relevant qualification
• Qualified accountants with at least 8 years’ commercial experience, 3 years at managerial level, preferably gained within European MNC
• Solid experience in IFRS
• Hands-on experience in Human Resources and administration procedures, practices and related legislation in Vietnam
• Excellent communication skills, open minded, proactive, detail-minded and analytical thinking, ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
• Strong leadership, motivation and managerial skills
• Result driven and self-starter, and willing to accept challenges and work under high pressure and tight deadlines
• Good command of written and spoken English
