Job Description:
- Maintain an effective process and organization in Financial (Budgeting, Accounting, Treasury & Tax) areas of Client Branch. Maintain an effective and efficient financial controls for the organization
- The job description is an integral part of the labor contract signed between the Branch & the position holder.
- The job description shall be subject to amendment and supplementation from time to time depending on changes of business needs as decided by the Branch.
- Financial Accounting, Budgeting & Reporting:
- Responsible for financial processes to ensure all financial data and related reporting to Client, management, tax office, PWC and government agencies have been recorded complete, timely and accurate and in accordance with internal and external guidelines and requirements meets the requirements of regional and market management as well as government agencies.
- Review transactions with vendors to ensure they comply with terms and conditions of the purchase order or agreement.
- Responsible for external audit from PWC, Tax Department as required by regulation.
- Responsible to ensure all company’s contracts and agreements with third parties are mandatory reviewed, documented and properly escalate
- to Client in cooperation with legal and other business process owners to conform with
- 1) accounting treatment in accordance to US GAAP and
- local GAAP
- 2) appropriate tax treatment
- 3) compliance with all relevant policies and
- 4) audit rights and proof of performance criteria.
- Manage Client's commitments to Partner including minimum profit guarantee at the factory and breakeven after tax at the Branch. Propose & implement strategic initiatives which can reduce Client subsidy at the Branch over years to accommodate a sustainable investment for Marlboro
- Manage KPI for Finance & Accounting team, implement action plans to improve those KPIs over time.
- Overall responsible for the Budgeting & Reporting function including OB/LRP process, manage RF cycles and actual spending reporting as per Client and local requirements
- Overall responsible for Branch's reporting to Client
