Finance and Admin Manager



Scope of role:

  • In charge of all the Accounting, Finance &Administrative

Key areas of responsibility:

1. In charge of Finance and accounting

  • Support Sales & Others dept review sales contracts (if abnormal)
  • Support Sales & Others dept related to Accounting &Finance issue
  • Prepare Bank guarantee for sales contracts
  • Perform daily operation, including problem solving for all Accounting & Finance Issues
  • Prepare urgent custom duties payment
  • Checked all invoices & period expenses from staffs and arrange the payment
  • Input all transactions in ERP (BAAN for AP, AR, and GL modules)
  • Check bank statements and reconcile Bank account
  • Monitoring Cash on hand
  • Reports for DPI & Bureau of Statistic in monthly basis
  • Prepare Tax reports
  • Confirm the Interco balance between MTTH, OH, and MTVN
  • In charge of Month-end closing process; including review GL accounts, accrual & reversal,
  • Reconciliation and prepare the month-ended report
  • Working with local authorities' obo MTVN: DPI, Local Polices, and People of Committees...
  • Review& maintenance Cost sheet
  • Prepare Payment to both local/ overseas suppliers
  • Review AR aging and follow up the overdue AR
  • Coordinate with Bank regarding to payment overseas & others
  • Working closely with external audit and tax audit
  • Assist management for the special tasks

2. In charge of HR administration

  • Recruiting and complete admin process when hiring new staff
  • Remind Managers to do probation appraisals, annual appraisals, exit interviews etc.
  • Document and archive all information

3. In charge of Logistic department

  • Lead a team of 1 team leader and 3 employees
  • In charge for all imports and shipping
  • Responsible for ordering at our factories around the world

The logistic here is already in a quite good shape. The main function would rather be on improving processes, people management etc.

Key knowledge & experience:

  • 3 years' experience in accounting
  • Advanced English (speak, read, write)
  • Proficient knowledge with ERP (BAAN) and MS Excel
  • Ability to communicate & work well across organization
  • Strong knowledge in VAS (Vietnam Accounting Standard) & International GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
