Job Purpose:
- Act as the principal resident point of contact for all Sun Life financial matters.
- Support the joint venture (Company) in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Support the joint venture (Company) in financial accounting and taxation matters
Major Accountabilities
- Supporting the joint venture team on monthly, quarterly and annual performance reporting and analyses;
- Supporting the joint venture team on annual Strategic Plan and Business Plan;
- As a member in the joint venture accounting function, assisting in:
- the preparation and/or quality review of financial accounting reports;
- the implementation of appropriate accounting standards and policies;
- ensuring internal controls exist and are functioning properly.
- Assist in ad hoc projects
Specialized Knowledge/Skills
- Experience in financial reporting, preferably in the life insurance and asset management businesses
- Good understanding of insurance finance
- Sound accounting knowledge
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Vietnamese
- Good interpersonal skills
Education and Experience
- 5 years working experience in financial reporting/business analysis/planning
- Certified Accountant or equivalent
- Good interpersonal skills
- Proficient in English, Fluent in Vietnamese
