Job Description:

FACTORY MANAGER

General Qualifications:

  •          Degree/diploma in Textiles/Production Management from a recognized institution
  •          Fluent English speaker (spoken and written), who will be able to manage daily email correspondance with Turkey
  •          With at least 5 years of experience as a Factory Manager and at least 10 years of experience in apparel production
  •          Excellent knowledge of apparel production processes; specifically woven shirt productions is an advantage
  •          Computer literate (Skilled at MS office programs), with experience using  ERP programs
  •          Able to manage, follow and control production processes
  •          Knowledgeable about quality management systems
  •          Experienced in Production Planning, Logistics and Warehouse Management
  •          Experienced at staff management with high personal communication skills
  •          Good aptitude to positively motivate his team and workers
  •          Responsible, skilled at  solution-oriented thinking
  •          High planning and organization skills, able to follow up in a detailed and systematic manner
  •          Team-oriented, able to collaborate with different disciplines and departments
  •          Dedicated to the job and looking for long term employment

 

Job Description:

  1.        Overseeing the  whole setup of the production facility
  2.        Planning and organising the staff, machinery, layout and organization for the facility
  3.        Organizing the procurement of new operators and planning operator trainings

4.  Ensuring that the orders received from the head office are efficiently planned with respect to their deadlines, workload and required materials

5.  Providing active control of the production lines and factory area

6.  Ensuring follow-up of operator productivity and performance

7.  Checking factory costs and organizing cost-reducing activities

8.  Managing and overseeing production processes with a philosophy of continuous improvement

9.  Coordinating and managing staff (Supervising 200 employees, which will likely increase to 400)

10.Determining the required materials for the products to be produced and to be in contact with the related departments

11.Procuring, maintaining and repairing necessary machinery and equipment for the  production process

12.Organizing the necessary procedures to meet customers’ quality expectancies and inspections

13.Supervising administrative activities

14.Managing  human resources processes
