Job Description:

Purpose:         

  • Manage and service all Vietnam specific requests on Client’s expert solutions, both internally and externally with clients, right from proposal stage to project delivery, offering compelling levels of insights and ensuring a long term and sustainable expert solutions revenues growth for Client.

Experience:      

  • Typically over 5 years relevant (client / agency) experience, with strong business sense and understanding coupled with excellent communication, data interpretation and presentation skills.
  • Reporting line: The incumbent of this position will report into the Business Development Director.
  • Responsibilities / Accountabilities:  including but not limiting to the below
  • Identify clients’ business challenges.
  • Create the Client solution and prepare the proposal that reflects it.
  • Manage the commercial side of Expert Solutions in Vietnam and be responsible for achieving the revenue targets in Vietnam.
  • Work closely with the Regional Expert Solutions team to create the best methodological approach and proposal.
  • Work closely to Expert Services and ROC (regional operations centre) for the production of the solutions.
  • Deliver the results to clients, working with Client Service teams and Regional Expert Solutions team.
  • Media Solutions focus:
    • Develop POV (point of view) for answering client briefs on media focused solutions.
    • Write or help with proposals on the different portfolio of media solutions for specific client briefs.
    • Lead client meetings across proposal sharing, answering client queries around technical and commercial aspects.
    • Regular follow-ups of client meetings and proposals.
    • Identify opportunities for media driven solutions from generic client meetings/discussions.
  • Business Solutions / Expert Services focus:
    • Ensure the Business Solutions like Decision Tree, Cluster Vision, Price Targeter, Shopper Mission, Chain Reaction, Expandability, Promotion Analysis, Scenario Modelling… are well-studied, well-managed and well-developed in Vietnam market, following the guidelines and instructions from global and regional team-in-charge.
  • LinkQ & Shopper Solutions:
    • Ensure that they are well-studied, well-managed and well-developed in Vietnam market, following the guidelines and instructions from global and regional team-in-charge.

Requirements: 

  • Act as a trusted advisor of our most advanced clients in Vietnam.
  • Strong analytical skills which can be applied in a commercial context. However no SAS or SPSS knowledge is required.
  • Commercially driven / Client oriented.
  • Passionate about marketing.
  • Team player.
  • Willing to broad own capabilities.
  • Lead by example.
  • Sound knowledge about Vietnamese business landscape.
  • Conversant in the media jargon, aware of media planning and buying tools in the market are the pluses.
  • Be friendly, independent with developing skills in influencing others.
  • Strong communication skills are important as the job environment may require active influencing and persuading a variety of people.
  • There will be a requirement to sell-in to the client new methods, processes and seek revenue generating opportunities and thus the individual needs to be bold and enjoy such challenging situations.
  • Draw conclusions by probing into things and contemplate the consequences of any action that is likely to be taken by proving the reliability of the information available.
  • Work independently when required but still be responsive to receiving feedback and direction from their line manager.
  • Being flexible, tactful and sensitive to others, and display good social and communication skills.
  • Show dedication to both the client and the client service team, demonstrating a professional work ethic and willingness to go the extra mile when required.
  • Needs to be independent, systematic and organized.
