Job Description:

Duties:

  • Plan, organize, direct and control media sales staff to meet these objectives.
  • Coordinate launch of media campaigns with marketing, communications, and sales departments.
  • Build relationships with media sponsors companies.
  • Negotiate rates with media sponsors.
  • Collect information on analyze audiences behaviors/responses.
  • Use a combination of several different kinds of media to reach different audiences.
  • Attend strategy meetings and brainstorm on media buying initiatives and suggestions.
  • Manage media sales department.
  • Train and supervise media department employees.
  • Making every effort to maximize both present and long term sales and gross profits.
  • Keeping face-to-face contact with sales staff and must stay current on financial data and inventory.
  • Discuss projects with clients and constructively handle (or supervise the handling of) all customer complaints related to media sales department.
  • Prepare in advance and conduct regular sales meetings.
  • Review the performance of employees and to motivate and stimulate them to even greater achievements.
  • At the beginning of each month, counsel with each salesperson to establish realistic sales objectives for the month and action plan
  • Constantly strive toward continuing professional growth.
  • Work to improve your sales skills, managerial skills, business skills and product knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Strong networking with large media sponsors both domestic and international.
  • 6-8 years of experiences in sales management (Entertainment or media industry preferred)          
  • Proven track record in managing and directing a highly skilled, motivated, successful and results-oriented sales force
  • Strong leadership qualities with good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
  • Excellent in English
  • Willingness to travel and work in a global team of professionals.
  • Proven leadership and ability to drive sales teams.
  • Able to operate in a fast-paced and changing market environment
