#842 Deputy Head of Commercial Department

Job Description:

Duties:

  • Contribute ideas, comments to Department Head in building sales and marketing strategies/ policies in short – term and long – term goals.
    • Attend meetings, brain storming to build relating strategies, policies for the Company
    • Work with Product Managers to generate plans to develop Sales of key products, push slow moving products and manage inventory
    • Support to collect market information and competitors
  • Set up and maximize the impact of Farmer Club and Farmer Network
    • Collaborate with Commercial staffs to set up and develop farmer network and farmer club, plan to attract farmers to join MPV Farmer Club
    • Control activities and budget of farmer club
  • Give strong support to Department Head on personnel management of Commercial Department
    • Manage recruitment, training, staff performance and appraisal in Commercial Department
    • Implement tasks to build team – work spirit and high responsibility
  • Handle management duties in case of absence of Department Head while still full fill his/ her own tasks
  • Provide weekly and monthly reports of commercial activities to Department head
  • Good knowledge on the Collective Labour Agreement, company regulations and maintain secrecy on issues

Authorization

  • Request the Company to provide opportunities and conditions to achieve the best results of work.
  • Communicate and make suggestion to Board of Management and other Departments to get necessary information, necessary facilities, working conditions to achieve the best results of work.

Relationships:

  • Internal relationship: all departments in company
  • External relationship: related authorities, service suppliers, Dealers and Sub-dealers, concerning authority offices

Requirements:

1. Knowledge & Education level:

  • Graduated from concerned university: Agronomy, Agricultural Technical, or Economics/ Business Administration or related fields.
  • Knowledge about plant protection products and related products

2. Skill:

  • Good comment in English (4 skills)
  • Computer proficiency (Microsoft office words, excel, power point)
  • Problem solving & decision making
  • Team work & collaboration
  • Accountability & Responsibility
  • Customer focus (internal & external)
  • Ability to work under pressure

3. Experience:

  • At least 5 years in similar position
