Responsibilities:

The Cotton Trader is responsible for buying Cotton/Yarn produce locally and working with the global marketing teams towards export. This is a newly created role which will provide immense opportunity towards scaling up the Cotton trading business in Vietnam. The key responsibilities for the role will include:

• Buying Cotton and associated product from the Vietnam markets
• Oversee the purchase/sales contract execution
• Develop plans and strategies together with the senior management team, including business collaboration with suppliers and customers
• Monitor and analyze physical Cotton export and import data
• Generate market intelligence reports

Requirements

• Male/ Female, Vietnamese only.
• Possess at least 8 years of experience in Cotton trading in Vietnam
• Have excellent network and knowledge of Vietnam Cotton market
• Experience in shipments and understanding of related documentation
• Strong communication skills
• The role will be based in Ho Chi Minh & will require frequent travel
