The Compliance Investigations Manager will be responsible for global compliance in Asia and will report directly to the Associate Vice President of Brand Protection Investigations. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, investigating, reporting, training, and assisting L Brands Global Trade Compliance leadership in addressing issues of:

Brand Protection / The sale or creation of counterfeit goods, trademark infringements, violations of our intellectual property rights, product diversion and/or theft. Activities include market visits to obtain samples of suspect goods, factory/supplier visits, management of internal and outside resources as needed, and coordination with Brand Protection investigators.

Social Compliance / Support company efforts in auditing facilities to ensure they are meeting the company’s Supplier Code of Conduct and product is being ethically produced on behalf of the company.

Trade Compliance / Support company efforts in meeting standards established by various Customs authorities to minimize risk of detention or any obstruction to the import or export of our legitimate products.

Supply Chain Security / Support company efforts to maintain the highest level of integrity and safety in the shipment and transportation of our products through programs such as Customs-Trade Partnership against Terrorism (CTPAT), Partners in Protection (PIP), Authorized Economic Operator (AEO), and the World Customs Organization’s SAFE framework of standards.

This associate will ensure that assignments are completed and supported to professional standards, files are properly maintained, and reports are prepared to communicate issues and recommendations to L Brands Global Trade Compliance leadership on a timely basis.
