Business Development Manager


  • Implement business development and marketing strategies for assigned customers within defined business sectors
  • Identify markets and product opportunities.
  • Prepare a weekly and monthly call activity plan for review with Sales Director for Distribution
  • Prepare monthly product/ sales forecast.
  • Expand customer base and increase business in target industries, at target accounts and of targeted products by establishing contacts with major OEMs and MRO’s of specified industry filed and giving these customers technical support and service
  • Obtain customer (OEM, MRO, DIS) and competitive information and report timely to managers
  • Maintain and improve customer relations.
  • Maintain accurate reports and records as well as review order status and customer sales activity.
  • Promote and sell product through seminars, trade shows and customer contact.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and orders in a timely and professional manner.
  • Make customer reports for each call when there is a significant change in personnel, business practice or when large requests for quotes are received. Also when help is required from another department.
  • Determine Recommend improvements for increasing the effective use of Field Service Engineers and other sales support.
  • Obtain data on new/existing applications where application engineering is required.
  • Responsible for the execution of customer training.
  • Observe technical details by visiting application site frequently in order to secure suitable bearing supply.
  • Coordinate to organize technical seminar by technical experts.
  • Designing and implementing marketing activities product launches, seminars and presenting to stakeholders for approval and review.
  • Ensuring the marketing KPIs are measured on monthly basis and reporting is prepared, and to recommend corrective actions for cases of deviations.
  • Oversee the CRM platform sales force with close coordination with Sales colleagues to reach KPI (market transparency, factsheets, competitor data, productline, any other key initiatives)
  • Ensure meeting annual marketing spend within budget assigned. Ensure effective follow up on Inquiries & quotation with internal sales. Become technically proficient in bearing applications so as to be able to review and present proposals to customers



  • Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • At least 5 years experiences in the relevant position and industries
  • Window & Microsoft, knowledge on bearings / Industrial mechanical applications.
  • Sales-Oriented and experienced in customer contact and commercially sound.
  • Good communication in English and Vietnamese. German, Japanese, Chinese is an advantage
  • High level of strategic thinking and acting, proactiveness as well as self driven and motivated.
  • Efficiently work under pressures, adhere to deadlines, and stretch extra hours to complete assigned task.
  • Should exhibit great creativity and resourcefulness. And able to communicate the insight and ideas effectively.
  • Should have equally effectively people skills to deal with stakeholders
  • Self-confident and outgoing personality.
