Asean Sales Manager

Job purpose

  • Design and operate platform strategy with multi-functions and external partners in the ASEAN Region.

  • Develop, sell, implement and evaluate business plans to meet or exceed financial goals.

  • Managing and improving distribution, pricing, shelving, and merchandising in e-Platform/site.

  • Provide input into category strategy for consideration of the GM.

  • Be the point of brand and category expertise with our customers.

  • Serving as a trusted business advisor.

  • Help by innovating new solutions to complex business challenges.

  • Own and manage significant customer accounts.

  • Participate on diverse, multi-functional teams.

 

Job accountabilities

  • Propose and implement sales strategy for Non-woven products with agreed Company objectives.

  • To partner with Customers to understand their products and processes to provide the best technical / products solutions

  • Ensure appropriate coordination between Sales Technical – Manufacturing/quality and Customers to solve product related issues

  • To identify and prospect new markets and business opportunities, and work closely with production development to elaborate a new generation of products along with appropriate sales processes and strategies. 

  • Create sales pipelines, through new contacts and ability to approach other markets.

  • Defining and agreeing product mix & pricing /for both China and Export market.

  • Responsible for agreeing the Sales forecast & budget and reporting on progress against budget.

  • Responsible for reviewing profitability of all sales areas and reporting back to HTA GM.  

  • Manage Claims, receivables and credit terms for HTA.

  • Establish key information data such as Customer profiles & Market profiles

  • Establish regular sales review meetings with HTA Management team and complete weekly update reports.

  • Responsible for level of inventory of raw materials and stock in line with forecast.

  • Oversees all hiring and training of personnel involved in sales and effectively manage all agents and distributors.

  • Develop, maintain and improve business relations with all customers of the company.

  • Seeks out and targets new customers and new sales opportunities, initiates action plan to approach and secure new business for the company.

  • Utilize appropriate commercial activities with distributors to boost indirect and direct sales.

  • Responsible for managing all sales activities and prioritising when required.

  • Lead, manage, develop and engage the sales team

 

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. Technical background esp. textile or nonwovens knowledge is a plus.

  • At least 5 years of sales & marketing and Key Account management experience. Work experience with textile, nonwovens and stitch-bonding materials is preferred.

  • Applicants should have lived in Vietnam (around Ho Chi Minh City) for at least three years or be Vietnamese citizen, who should be open to travel abroad and domestically regularly.

  • Demonstrated ability of critical thinking and problem solving.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Fluency in English communication is mandatory and ability in Chinese is a plus.

  • Proficient on Microsoft Offices: Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
