To perform
formation evaluation for all existing wells and integrate with depositional
geological concept for further Subsurface activities/studies (coring and core
analysis); and to provide technical direction and assurance to the Subsurface
team encompassing all aspects of petrophysical responsibilities
Fully
responsible in petrophysical data review for all existing wells; and to provide
all the petrophysical parameters for 3D reservoir property models, rock physics
study, HIIP calculations or any relevant Subsurface activities/studies
To support
in well proposal preparation by providing technical input on data acquisition
program, and also post well evaluation report; and to support in all drilling
operations (data testing and sampling, sidewall coring etc) by ensuring all the
required level of logging quality is achieved
To prepare
required tendering documentation and supervise all the service contracts such
as the wireline logging, data testing and sampling, and other study services
To
participate in all preparation for technical/management presentations to host
Authority and Partners
To assist
in providing training and transfer of technical knowledge and skill to local
employees, in area of petrophysics in general as part of developing technical
capability of subsurface team
Job requirement
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in
Petroleum/Reservoir Engineering or Geoscience or any related discipline.
Masters in these disciplines would be an advantage
Minimum 5 years of significant industry
experience and proven skills. Experience in Vietnam’s operations is preferred
Experience in both basement and clastic
reservoirs or any complex fractured reservoirs; formation evaluation and
drilling operations
Basic to advanced geology
knowledge/skill
Competent in using Petrophysics Geolog
software or any petrophysics software; Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint,
Project)
Excellent command of spoken and written
English
Able to and enthusiastic about domestic
and international travels
