Job Description:

Planning & Strategy:

- Build up strategy for factory development basing on the vision & business plan.

- Well Production, finance and workforce planning make sure factory operation runs smoothly &

efficiently.

Production Management:

- Oversee the production process, drawing up a production schedule;

- Make sure that products are produced on time & are of good quality;

- Monitor the production processes and adjusting schedules as needed;

- Monitor product standards and implementing quality-control programs;

- Work out the human and material resources needed;

- Draft a timescale for the job;

- Estimate costs and setting the quality standards;

- Ensure that the production is cost effective;

- Be responsible for the selection and maintenance of equipment;

- Liaise among different departments to deploy the production effectively;

- Work with managers to implement the company's policies and goals;

- Mechanizing: Deploy the most modern techniques/ machinery available in the market &

mechanize where possible to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

- Aware of all risks and troubles in factory and have proper solutions.

- Continuous Improvement for all operation activities.

- Ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed;

Workforce Management:

- Utilize the workforce effectively.

- Make sure all the subordinators follow with the company regulation and required productivity.

- Well-manage factory workforce & ask for support from back office if really necessary.

- Build up career path for all staff levels (especially for supervisors and team leaders) and conduct right training and coaching efficiently.

- Design incentive schemes, supervise and motivate the team to increase productivity

- Review worker performance;

- Identify training needs.

General

- Be responsible for keeping all aspects of the factory floor clean, tidy and well-organized.

- Follow up Health and Safety policies/ Maintaining Kaizen, 5S  system in the factory

- Strong leadership; good time management and organization skills;

- Plan, direct, coordinate activities and resources necessary to ensure the production plan is met.

- Excellent communication & negotiation skills are required for any leadership role.

Requirement

- At least 5 years working experience in Garment business as a factory manager.

- Knows fabrics and accessories very well.

- Good technical and analytical skills

- Good attitude, management skill and interpersonal skill

- Good communication both English and Vietnamese.

- Hard work, think of ways to improve and increase productivity; willing to work overtime.

- Not adverse to change, must be able to listen and collect opinions from the team, analyze these points and put new systems into place where necessary.
