Job Description:

You’ll build and lead a team of high caliber pros in the Vietnam who’ll handle getting awesome into players hands while covering everything from development to distribution.

You’ll ensure that players in the Vietnam get access to high-quality LoL and Client that surprises and delights on every unboxing.

You won’t stop at inventory management; you’ll follow the process to completion by building and managing third party relationships to keep the flow of merch and services moving smoothly to their final destinations.

 You know the purchasing experience doesn’t just end at clicking “buy,” so you’ll design and execute support strategies so players feel good about their purchase throughout the process.

You’ll join a smaller team of internationally and culturally diverse professionals that share our obsession with player experience, rejection of convention and passion for gaming. With teams in Player Support, Community, Publishing and Marketing, Client is dedicated to creating unique player experiences that show Taiwan/Southeast Asia players they aren’t lost in translation.

YOU ARE:

  • Certifiably educated and experienced: you understand the balance between book smarts and street smarts, and earned at least a bachelor’s degree before racking up a minimum of at least five years experience working in a top firm with management responsibility; bonus points if you’ve worked with gamer or entertainment types like us
  • A fearless entrepreneur: you know that an opportunity not captured now is opportunity missed; no matter how difficult things appear to be, you find a way to overcome them, because when others see obstacles, you see opportunities
  • A financially savvy leader: you’ve managed a P&L before and are intimately familiar with managing both the top line as well as the bottom line; you’ve capably captained a team to achieve results that everyone is proud to have reached together

  • A people person: you easily and organically form relationships with players, stakeholders, and anyone else who might help make a project successful

YOU WILL:

  • Craft and execute the overall merchandise strategy for the Vietnam
  • Manage merch support as you design goals, run-books, and policies, mentoring the team you helped build while communicating with senior leadership
  • Track support metrics and extract key insights to constantly iterate and improve the process
  • Build and lead a team to:
    • Manage the merch program in the Vietnam including catalogs of Client and League of Legends merchandise in Clients, Garena as well as third-party channels
    • Design strategies to give players in the Vietnam faster and more reliable access to our merchandise
    • Work with third party logistics (3PL) and carriers in the Vietnam to implement processes to ensure compliance with global customs regulations
    • Make sure the quality of localization and customer interaction exceeds player expectations
  • Provide feedback from players, partners, and vendors to Client’s central team in Client  and work with them to make savvy decisions about merch and product direction with the needs of the Vietnam fans in mind
  • Be data-informed, relentlessly refining and improving merchandise business based on data and evaluative processes
